Refund and Billing Policy

How subscriptions, renewals, cancellation, and refunds work.
This Refund and Billing Policy explains how billing works for The Virtual Coach. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Plans and pricing
We offer a monthly plan and an annual plan. The current price of each plan is shown at checkout before you subscribe. New users may generate a limited number of programs at no cost before a subscription is required.
2. Billing and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance through a third-party payment processor. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, each month for the monthly plan and each year for the annual plan, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize the charge on each renewal using your payment method on file.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing management area in your account. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your access returns to the free tier.
4. Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused program generations, including after a cancellation. Because you can cancel at any time before a renewal, you are only ever billed for periods you chose to continue.
5. Price changes
We may change our prices. If the price of your plan changes, we will give you notice before it takes effect, and the new price applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue at the new price.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may pause or end your paid access until payment succeeds. You can update your payment method in the billing management area.
